Manufacturers and businesses in Stephenson County have access to valuable resources that can help drive growth, secure new revenue streams, and strengthen long-term competitiveness.

The Illinois APEX Accelerator provides no-cost assistance to help companies pursue local, state, and federal government contracting opportunities, including bid matching, registrations, certifications, market research, and one-on-one guidance. Businesses located in Stephenson County are eligible to receive support through Region 1 Planning Council's Rockford satellite office.

The Advancing Innovative Manufacturing (AIM) Tax Credit Program helps manufacturers investing in automation, modernization, advanced technologies, equipment, facility improvements, and production efficiencies. Eligible projects with significant capital investments may qualify for Illinois tax credits designed to encourage innovation, expansion, and long-term manufacturing growth.

Speaker: Dominic Meneghetti, Northern Stateline Region Manager
