The UpstairsDowntown™ upper-floor housing program, developed and branded by Mike Jackson and Dan Carmody in 2005, has inspired communities across the nation to redevelop the upper floors of their historic buildings. Presented in sixteen states at various local, state, and national gatherings, their workshops focus on building community capacity to revitalize underutilized assets and strengthen local economies by harnessing market forces.
