Week of the young child kick off event

Description
According to National Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC), "The purpose of the Week of the Young Child® is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. Celebrations are organized and coordinated by NAEYC Affiliates, and by individual early childhood programs and community organizations providing services to young children and families.”
The local early childhood community has planned to celebrate the Week of the Young Child® with a Kick-Off Family Event on April 6, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Family YMCA of Northwestern Illinois located at Highland Community College.
